Eve and Concept Albums
When I'm at work (or at home), I love to listen to concept albums. I think it's because all the songs generally flow together. It creates an environment of continuation - no breaks or disruptions between songs, but a continual stream of music.
I do the same thing in Eve - play concept albums - generally Pink Floyd - since I listened to them forever when I was a kid and loved the music. It dawned on me today that I didn't have "Wish you were here" in my collection. I can't believe I didn't have it - since "Shine on you Crazy Diamond (parts I - XI) is by far one of my most favorite Floyd songs. "Remember when you were young.. you were sharp as the Sun..." fabulous.I've been exploring the systems in our new space of Delkein. I'm trying to understand the regional markets, the pipes and the logistical situation. I think I have a pretty good idea on what and how things work. We are hoping we can begin to move stuff up this weekend or early next week. Congo is definitely recruiting and trying to get seasoned pilots. I'm also trying to find other like minded corporations who might be interested in merging. I think having a seasoned pvp crew and providing for them economic models that allow them to hone their craft is good for an budding corporation.
It's not one for the other - that is, you can't be a good pvp corp and not have solid revenue streams - you need to do both (in some way of fashion). I think by the lastest post from Insurgency make clear the point that you need to recover your loses. It's not a zero sum game - unless you are buying ISK for RL (real-life) money.
In the immortal words of Floyd - "Welcome to the machine....."
